vueOne Software Solutions

The vueOne software solution provides a common engineering model supporting all phases of production systems’ lifecycle: design, engineering, build and commissioning operation and monitoring, re-configuration, plus training and support.

Seamless cross-domains collaboration and a common understanding of the design targets are essential to successful engineering processes. The FDS software solution provides a 3D-based virtual environment for process visualisation and simulation of Fully Automatic and Semi-Automatic Manufacturing Systems. Our software solution is based on a core editor platform (vueOne Editor) complemented by specific modules which functions focusing on key aspects of the production processes; control, mechanical, layout and productivity engineers can collaborate around a common view that reflects the real system design.

FDS software design team focuses specifically on implementing lightweight and deployable applications that can be deployed with minimal IT overheads and used effectively with minimum amount of training. Our objective is to make virtual engineering tools deployable on every engineer’s desk.

V-Editor

The vueOne Editor regroups the user interfaces and functions that are used to build a virtual system visual appearance (3D geometry) and its nominal behaviour (possible motions and control logic). The CCE editor’s interface is based on clearly laid out controls and well defined workflow which makes the process of building a system’s model straightforward to all engineers, even with no modelling specific skills.

V-Vue

The vueOne viewer is a stand alone software that is used to view complete simulations edited using the vueOne Editor tools. The vueOne viewer single .exe small size installer can be deployed on virtually any modern PCs and laptop, so that the benefits of Virtual Engineering can really be shared by all. the vueOne viewer is our strongest argument for collaborative engineering.

In the making

FDS permanently seeks to improve its existing products and creates new ones. Several new software modules are being designed which functionalities are the result of projects collaboration with key partners from various domains of the industry. Our goal is to maintain maximum added value of our tools while extending the range of applications that can be modelled and simulated.


V-Man

The V-Man software module provides productivity engineers with a simple-to-use tool to define operator work process and visualise the result in the same virtual environment used to design/validate the automated system process. The V-Man software is strongely focused on usability in order to avoid complexity of use typically associated with other similar tools.

V-Rob

The V-Rob module will allow robot models and work processes to be integrated in a simulation. As for the V-Man module, our goal is not to replace specialised robot off-line programming application, but to complement them by providing an holisitc design view that shows virtual machines, operators and robots process interacting processes.


V-Gen

The vueOne Generation will enable automatic generation and installation of PLC control code to the target controller, directly from the virtual environment. This capability will increase engineers’ confidence regarding their design and drastically reduce commissioning, testing and ramp-up times.


V-Hub

The V-hub module will exploit and extend the strong collaborative potential of our existing viewer by enabling cloud-based updates of locally stored simulation data as well as providing advanced and engineering specific collaboration functionnalities built around the common 3D based system views.


V-Lib

FDS tools’ worklows are centererd around the concept or re-usability and configurability of pre-tested and pre-validated modelling components. This allows modelling time and modelling-related errors to be drastically reduce. The V-Lib module development aims at improving this already existing capability.
